Hi, I use mIRC to connect to several irc networks, of which two are small lan network whose status windows are extremely unimportant.

It would be nice to be able to hide some of those status windows and reduce clutter (or consolidate status window outputs to 1).

I believe this is easy to implement and a big warning box would tell users to use this feature at their own risk and needing to consider how to indicate window ownership could be avoided.

Thank you for your time.

My guess is he also wishes to hide the item in the window bar.

I too would like this.

SOmthing else I would like to see, other than just hiding the button. The ability to chose the size of the status window button seperatly.

IE, a small 10 x 10 pixel button would be suficient to switch to the status window, if it required to look at.

Suck it, lick it, milk it then put it away.
