According to Khaled it should have never worked in the first place so it's classed as a fix. smile

Your not alone in wanting it back frown but it can also potentially be abused by malicious scripts.

how about a dialog that ask somethink like "Some script tries to hide an Status Window (Network: irc.xyz.org). Allow that action?"

Ok, may it would be better if it's impossible to change the server on an hidden Status Window. Cause than is no way to hidden an Status Window with active connection to some.net, and after hideing change to some-bad.net

I just have to comment on this post...

/Window MUST NOT CARE about window type... Why is controlling non-custom windows, in the way /window does a "problem"??? /Window should control all MDI windows equally.

I think no other "bug" has caused me so much mental anguish! Yet making /set and /tokenize reserved words is some how a BAD thing?(referring to)... Not blaming Khaled, but blaming the people encouraging him otherwise.

Believe it or not, structure is our friend, and restrictions are our ememy. There is a difference. smirk

mIRC 6.2 does NOT support the stated behaviour (ie: ability to hide the status window). This was available up to and including 6.17, but NOT in 6.2

I don't think that killing KMB is the solution ;P

I believe that he has stated that - in his view - this was a bug. It has now been corrected. (Did someone not already say this?)

since mIRC v6.21
"the /window -h behaviour has
been fixed so that you can hide Status windows from the switchbar;"

"10.Fixed /window -h not being able to hide status window switchbar
buttons. "
