Hi, anyone know how to deactivate the idle and sign-on information? i.e. "xx has been idle 19mins 8secs, signed on Sun Oct 29 16:22:24" Thanks.

This information is sent via a RAW reply from the server. There is no way (that I'm aware of) to prevent it or change it.

If that sign in date/time & idle time is for yourself, it's probably available from others, but you have to specify the nick twice in the /whois command in order to get it.

/whois <nick> will return all the information if it is your nick
/whois <nick> <nick> is required for all of the information to be returned for someone else's nick.

If this doesn't resolve your question, then please post the network and I'll see what I can find.
