Forums mIRC Help I need help from an Administrator of mIRC w/my acc

account. Something isn't right. I paid the $20 and recieved the email to complete registration and I followed the instructions and did so.

But now my friends are unable to AOp me because it says that I need to be registered. Yet when I do the;

/msg nickserv identify password email

It says that my nickname is already registered. So that's where I'm at. My nickname is;

Mr_Bigins

Another mentionable: When I first signed up I used a fake name "Mike Miller", but when I paid with paypal I was forced to register with my real name. Could this be part of the issue? Should I delete mIRC, redownload and fill out the info again?

Just choose another nick if that one s taken You dont need to delete anything

mIRC has no control over the network or the nick you want to use, registering a nick is a network issue, totally separate from registering mIRC.
