Just don't hit esc? It's apart from other keys for a reason :tongue:

but its useless as is holding ctrl key for locking mirc

there are OK and CANCEL buttons for some reason :P

What if you don't have a mouse? Having to tab to the OK/Cancel button would be annoying as hell.

Huh? Not that I agree with the suggestion, but only one tab is needed to get to the OK button...

What I'd like to see is the richtext edit control keeping focus when pressing tab, so tabs can be placed in scripts instead of spaces. Odd that it doesn't, since the script interpreter allows tabs in place of spaces smile

One tab, assuming focus was on the editbox. It could be somewhere else.

this is ridicilous...
who of scripting users would use pc with mirc without mouse
or even ANY normal common user that just wants to use mirc...

Even if it's 1 in 10,000 people, why remove a feature that would be handy for them for no reason at all? Why do you even want escape to not close the dialog? That's what the escape key does!

It's not like the script editor is a prison where you're not meant to escape from so why is it such a deal, you could always remove the ESC key from your keyboard if you dont wish to use it.
