Forums Connection Issues problems connecting 2 irc with internet explorer 7

I have installed internet explorer 7 beta 2 Build 5358, and now i have problems connecting to mirc 6.2 and i wanted to know what the problem might be, if there is any thing im ment to set.

i have tried to looked and done a search but i cant seem to be able to solove this

I had the same problem with IE7, and was only able to resolve it by downgrading to IE6. Since IE 7 is still in beta testing mode, this is actually an IE issue, and it has been reported to Microsoft.

might have to do it the long way around for now... cos i wanna see how it is etc

Unless Microsoft releases an updated version before you get to that point. Good luck, and sorry about the problem.

strange, I'm now running IE7 RC1 and I have no problem whatsoever with using mIRC (PS: you don't connect to mIRC, mIRC is a client program, IRC is a chat protocol, and you connect to an IRC-Server)


I don't use IE7 as my main browser though (Opera is my primairy browser...)
