OP twigboy Babel fish T Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 98 Sydney, Australia	hey there i was wondering, WM_INITMENUPOPUP is still received for the mIRC menubar, but for other popups (such as Status Window, etc), the message is no longer visible (i used Spy++ from VS.net 2003) is this something overlooked or was it intentially removed? if it is the case, it breaks the Xpopup component of DCX =( http://www.thatawesomeshirt.com and http://twigstechtips.blogspot.com =)

NaquadaServ Fjord artisan N Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 580	Yeah, noticed this too. I used that message to modify the switchbar's menu, I found that 6.2 broke my code. It appears that WM_INITMENUPOPUP message isn't being sent (I can't even see it with an instance WH_CALLWNDPROC hook). NaquadaBomb www.mirc-dll.com

Khaled Hoopy frood Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 5,420 London, UK	mIRC is using a slightly different method of displaying popup menus in v6.2 which doesn't trigger this message. I will see if I can change it back in the next version.
