I looked, but I couldn't find this one REALLY great tutorial who's addy used to be posted on this board. It was with a collection of other tutorials on all sorts of protocols.

I know you could easily say "read the RFC", and I COULD do that... but I'd rather have someone tell me "Just do this. Ignore the rest of this crap, because it hardly ever comes up."

If anyone remembers this URL and can post it, I would be VERY grateful... or if you could point me in a similar direction, that would be excellent as well.

I'm looking to make my own webserver in mIRC using the HTTP protocol and sockets.

Next time I'll bookmark it. hehe tyvmia

Quick question: besides just the fun of coding something like what you've stated, what would be the point of making a web server in mIRC?

I would think that this would slow mIRC down considerably, and it would definately be easier to run Apache httpd.
