how do i make a bot that stays in the channel so the channel dont disapear and make me op every time i login??

The fact that your bot gives you op, everytime that you join the channel, is because of a script that is running on your bot.

Type /remote off
This will disable all scripts, and should halt the automatic opping.

Your first question doesn't make sense to me.
If the bot remains in the channel all the time, the channel obviously doens't disappear....

I think he's talking about the bot that comes with a server (BotServ) and not one that he made, so, /remote off won't solve the problem, I used to toggle it on and off, but, I'm not on IRC right now, when I do go on, I'll let you know how to fix the problem.

I think he means like an eggdrop or other "lurker".

just see a friend who has a good connection, get him/her to sit in your channel and have you added to their auto op list. You can't run a bot from your own PC as if you get disconnected the channel would close(assuming you are the only ones in it)

so sorry gtjpg, I can't believe that I didn't find it, but, I'm pretty sure that it was possible to do this with chanserv and/or botserv, if I ever do find it, I'll get back to you
