I just wanted to know why don't you use upx.
It is an .exe and .dll compressor which needs no extraction.
with that program, mirc 6.03 is now about 627 Ko instead of 1.71 Mo and it works as well.
So using mirc on a floppy disk becomes easy.
If you want you can also discompress it !
