I already looked it up, but I am having a hard time understanding how to remove it.

My brother set a password because he didn't want me to use "his mIRC".

So I would like to know how to remove it without actually knowing the password.

Explain it step by step, including which folders, please.

Thank you!

Umm... if it is "his mIRC", then you shouldn't be using it?

you could always install a new copy in a different folder and lock that one to your password

can u lock 2 mircs with differtn passwords? i thought it put it in one spot in the reg?

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\mIRC\LockOptions

I guess if its a different user it well store a different one based on current user, but two mircs well use the same spot wont they?

pffft just make this file two like reg file and apply it to the reg, kiss the key good bye.

REGEDIT4
[-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\mIRC\LockOptions]

PS: note the person said "his mirc" with quotes which i took to infer it wasnt HIS at all.
