Forums Bug Reports mIRC 6.17, Windows XP SP2 and autoupdate shutdowns

I've noticed that when Windows perfoms an automatic security update, and then reboots the system, mIRC does NOT reload any of the previously loaded scripts on startup, and they have to be reinstated manually. This has happened three times now to me.

I'm unsure whether 6.16 had this behaviour, as I cannot recall whether I had an automatic update during this time.

every thing works fine here . i dont have that problem

If you leave your computer on all the time, mIRC might not, for some reason, save your settings until you quit mIRC. Try starting mIRC, setting it up the way you want, quitting it, and restarting it.

If even that loses your settings, you probably need write access to your mIRC directory.
