I'm experiencing alot of Invalid Page Fault errors with mIRC.exe. With 6.16 and now with 6.17. Prior to running SSL and also with running SSL with 6.17.
The only program that generates that extremely hard core error is mIRC. It freezes all concurrent programs running on that computer at that time until the OK button is selected, making that extremely flustrating.
Today, I upgraded the motherboard with a new faster one, installed all new drivers and I am experiencing Invalid Page Fault errors with mIRC.exe. That error often IMMEDIATELY pops up when I'm trying to load mIRC.exe, and also overtime during the day or night if mIRC is running, it will suddenly toss up that error as well.
MIRC616 caused an invalid page fault in
module KERNEL32.DLL at 0167:bff7b992.

Mostly the same message now also with mIRC617.exe
There is plenty of room on the HD, replaced the MB, memory sticks are working fine, the only program generating that hard core error is mIRC.
I can't upgrade this computer for afew weeks to Windows 2000 Pro and I'm really trying to get a handle on containing this hard core error problem.
Any suggestions on what switches I can adjust or turn OFF in mIRC to try and minimize that error?
