Hi I am trying to download the latest mIRC617....

I can download ok ....... save on my hard disk, but when I

try to install I get a message box up saying

" C/mirc617.exe is not valid Win32 Application "....... would be

grateful if someone can tell me what this is and even better

if they can tell what to do about it . I already have a

previous version still active.

Please make sure you're downloading from mIRC's download page otherwise the files maybe corrupt.

Or the download itself could be corrupt...
Re-Downloading it from the mirc website would solve that as well.

I downloaded from the mIRC download page.....

this message appears when I double click to start the

installation process..........

Hi Hve solved the problem ....and am posting this in the hope

it may help someone else. I originall downloaded from the UK

since that is where I live. However it was suggested that I

download from another ENGLISH speaking country.

i downloaded from from ILLINOIS USA, and everything

came through fine ....... If at first you don't succeed try

another country
