interesting that you're having this problem. I've found that the majority of the time an error message tells me what script and line number that caused the error.

might be a code in a timer, they come back with no line numbers (from memory)

Apon actually reading your message closely (last time i was rather hung over). I know the exact reason for no line number, and that reason was, that it wasnt a mirc error you were receiving it was a IRC server responce to an UNKNOWN COMMAND, namely the command "IF($DLL(SCRIPT/DLLS/INGAME_IRC.DLL,IFGAMEENABLED,$1)" which in mircs eyes isnt actually an error, rather a command in itself, that can be issued to the IRC server, musch like say "NS" is a command to the irc setrver which is the same as going "MSG nickserv".

Try the script when your not connected to the server (if thats is doable with said script) and you recieve an error like this
* /if($dll(script/dlls/ingame_irc.dll,ifgameenabled,$1): not connected to server (line XXX, alias-or-remote.mrc)
