Is there a way to disable Alt-Z (close window)? I frequently hit it accidentally because it is next to Alt and it has no confirmation window. It causes me to leave channels when I don't want to.

The key is redundant - Control-F4 does the exact same thing, and that's the command I use when I want to leave the channel.

I don't know if there's a way to disable it, but just to let you know, the reason it's in (and this is pasrt of Windows not mIRC) there is because of people that only have one hand. As you have pointed out, the two keys are close together, so someone with a physical disability that prevents them from being able to use the CTRL-F4 command (which pretty well requires two hands) can still use it.
