I recently purchased an APC Biopod biometrics reader, but plain and simple its an AuthenTec AES 3500. Softex OmniPass provides the interface for the hardware, which supports Windows Logon, and anything else with a logon.

Well my question deals with DLL usage mostly, but the rough idea is "wouldn't it be cool to authenticate your mIRC session via Biometrics? I am having a hard time finding out DLL usage or anything dealing with bringing up the "OmniPass - Validate User" dialog, which is stored in scureapp.exe, Im not sure in what way any of you can help me, but who knows, maybe one of you has a biopod like me, and is trying to do the same thing. any and all help / info / tips / tricks on getting usage of functions on DLL's or sniffers that show what gets passed to a DLL would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If the software has a COM interface, one of the COM-savvy scripters on this forum may be able to work something out.
