It appears that in the process of looking up the user's local info, mIRC will now sometimes display the results as if they were initiated with a non-silenced /dns command. I can reproduce this bug (but not always) by setting local info method to Server, and connecting to a server. Usually, something like this will now appear:

Quote:
[14:40.50] * Dns resolving 10.0.0.5
-
[14:40.50] Local host: neptune.xise.nl (10.0.0.5)

I've also seen it print something about the DNS queue, and display the results of the lookup right before the usual "Local host" line. I've heard two other people mention this so far. It's definitely something new in 6.17.
