I have noticed in the past and recently, that there are quite a few people who don't know they can specify a kick message when using the -k switch from mIRC's /ban command.
The syntax for ban says:
/ban [-kruN] [#channel] <nickname|address> [type]
Perhaps adding [kickmessage] to the end of that and mention that you can do this would be helpful.
