OP caspiration Pikka bird C Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 10	Hi all My problem is that sometimes at night our irc server disconnects everyone .. and my script tries to reconnect for hours .. but the reconnect status says: 07:51] * Connect retry #7356 217.220.29.27 (6667) whereas I have set the name of the SERVER to reconnect (no IP) .. and I only have that one server registered. Where does it get that IP from ?? and why does it try to connect to IP. The strange thing is that this is my main complete script - whereas I have a silly empty script for games - and that on the other hand retries connection with : 07:51] * Connect retry #1 irc.servername.org (6667) and comes straight back in. I have tried comparing the two .. but I cannot find the error. ANy help extremely welcome thanks in advance caspi
