AidanJT Pikka bird A Joined: Dec 2005 Posts: 18	I think the main issue is with DCC, outgoing DCC's require a listening port for each session, it can be a hassle setting this up if your router/firewall doesn't have layer 7 logic supporting the IRC protocol, such as netfilter in the Linux kernel. UPnP would be useful in this regard.
