I have had my pc wiped and re installed all programs including Mirc. I can download but not send. I have found that in mirc options / connect / servers the mirc server stated is "new user" or below in the drop down box it states wildghosts irc. what is wrong with the system as I dont like only downloading and not giving other users the chance to upload from myself. could anyone please help with this matter and I confess that I am not an expert on the pc.
the system running is windows xp 2 and the firwall has an exeption for mirc. as I say I can recieve but when the system tries to upload I get a timed out message and nothing goes through.
