Hello,

I don't know if this is a known issue in mirc, but everytime I set channelmodes in my channels on my network, some of those wont stay when I close mirc and re-login. That means I have to set them each time I login.

This is especially the modes +A and +O

I use the following command for setting of channelmodes:

/msg ChanServ SET #Channelname MLOCK +AO ON

I'm using UltimateIRCd 2.8.9

That's not a mIRC issue... it's an issue with the chanserv. I remember "problems" with mlock years ago on dalnet, but I've not used mlock since. Those "problems" were problems caused by syntax, if I remember correctly. Maybe someone here still uses mlock and has a suggestion.

mode A = auditorium = if channel is set to +m mode then Auditorium mode shows only op, vop and uop users.

mode O = overflow = this mode redirects users to secondary channel when primary is full (reached users limit).

and as recalled this can be set by oper and admin only
dunno if your ircd's chanserv has different mode meaning
