Forums mIRC Help TCP base protocol

Hi,

I have a problem with mIRC.

I used v5.91 till last week and afterwards I upgraded to v6.03.
After this when I try to connect it goes either "time out" or "unable to connect" regardless of the server.
This is from my work computer that has win2000 and it's behind a proxy, but it worked due to a socks5 server that I used.

When I try to connect on dial-up I get the message "Unable to find the TCP Base Protocol". This connection worked like a charm before.

Does anyone has any ideea???

The problem is that it worked both on socks and dial-up with v6.03 for about a week and then it didn't work on both connections.

Any help will be appreciated.

And btw when it tries tp connect on dial-up, on every retry it says "Unable to create socket". Maybe this is useful.
