actually i have made a personal dll that i have that allows me to not only change those images but to display my channels in a treeview panel thus negating the need for mircs standard format, i did have a small screenshot post on it for previous versions of mirc but that section has probably long since been burried, my dll takes the window handle an notifies mirc when any new/old window opens or closes. allowing it to add or remove the item from the treeview menu, along with assigning your own icons along with mdx. I also know there are atleast 2 other dlls out that do just replace those icons.
