Forums mIRC Help Wierd hard to explain problem

last friday i ran windows update, finally and installed a bunch of updates..

i then opened IRC and noticed something odd, i cant maximize channel windows..before i used to be able to maximize one channel window and the topic will then go into main IRC window titlebar, but now when i open irc, the windows stay in 'free form' and whenever i resize the ACTUAL mIRC window the channel windows stay the same size, so they look all wonky inside the resized mIRC window.

its very hard to explain, but basically, i cant maximize any windows inside IRC, all they do is stretch to fit the size that the IRC window is a tthe current time, and when that is changed, they stay the same..i dunno wtf im saying, but i was wondering if anyone could help..im thinking it has something to do with me running wwindows update..

hopefully someone can decipher what the HELL i just said and attempt to help me..:(

I've never heard of that happening before... Hmm...

Try doing this, just to see if it helps...

While only your original status is open (no channels/queries/etc):

1) Right click on the status tab
2) Go to Position > Reset All
3) Right click on it again and choose Maximize
4) Go to Position > Save All

See if that fixes it for you.
