When u make a new post, there is the option "Email all replies to my real email address"... any way to cancel this once it has been set? :S

Go back to your post then hit 'edit'. Click on 'delete this post' then start again from scratch, making sure that you uncheck the email option.

"This post can no longer be edited because the maximum edit time has expired" frown

no other ways to get rid of it?

Ugh...posts can only be edited by the poster up to 2 hours after posting them. The only other thing I can think of is to notify a moderator and see if they can remove it altogether, then you can start again.

I don't even think it works. I never get emails telling me people replied, though they have.

Ater seeing Grimz post, i'm curious..have you gotten any replies by email?

Do you mean clicking on email all replies to my real email addy on a post? I havent tested it, so im not sure what/if overrides a specific post change vs your settings, or if it works to begin with, but what are your settings in My Home/main configuration/Subscribe - Unsubscribe from receiving forum posts by email, change message notifications? Click on edit beside that line to check. If you meant that you set it up originally to have stuff emailed to you, you can change your choice there at any time.

/me wanders off to test email reply thingies

this has nothing todo with the settings in My Home/main configuration/Subscribe - Unsubscribe, ParaBrat :-) It is about the "Email all replies to my real email address" option you see below every posting you make.
As far as I know it works perfectly OK smirk

I don't get it because I got my registration email fine ... so my email should be working.

I'll just switch it to my ISP email I guess.

Thanks for checking it out. wink
