Forums Feature Suggestions Pasting

It would be nice if there were an event that triggers when more than 1 line of text were pasted into a window. This can either be made into the input event, or a new event for pasting (such as on paste)... this would help scripters make paste control scripts to keep user pastes from floowign channels and windows.

There is already an option in mirc to deal with multi line pasting in case you were unaware. mIRC Options > Other 'Confirm...' button. "Confirm when pasting [ ] or more lines of text"

I thought that they were referring to something so that a bot would be able to detect if multiple lines were copy/pasted into a window, so that someone wouldn't be able to copy/paste, for example, 20 lines, and have the bot think that it's just a single entry.

Im sure the ON INPUT goes off for each line pasted, and there is also a $inpaste to detect your in a pasting op, so i dont really see what more there needs to be done?

I am aware of the confirmation settings, and I have not noticed the input event catching pasts.
