Anyone recommend this as a way to keep up the performance of a computer? I was looking into registryfix.com. I do not use any special add/remove programs. Also, is this recommended? Thanks.

Unless you know what you are doing, registry cleanup software can be very dangerous to use. The registry is complicated and many programs tend to hide stuff in there that cleanup software thinks isn't connected to any programs currently installed. It will then remove the information and you're stuck with programs not working properly.

If you know what you are doing and you've worked in the registry before, then you can usually use these safely. Still, they aren't really a lot of use.
