Forums mIRC Help How to Download from Packetnews?

I downloaded mIRC and then when I go to packetnews.com and click on the movie I want, Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, nothing happens. It will connect me to a channel? and then I don't know what to do from there. Help please! I searched but nothing really came up.

It IS file sharing but some of it is legal...for example open source programs are available on packet news also... I need help Downloading with packetnews also

Legal or illegal, the forum rules are clear. mIRC is not desgined for filesharing, whether or not the ability is there. We are also not allowed to help with such issues as most of the downloading is illegal and we can't just assume someone is telling us the truth about what they are downloading.

There are other places you can find help about downloading from places like packetnews... and even scripts to help you do so.
