Forums General Discussion i amnot getting a notification

i am on a new computer right now, and when it says that i can receive the file , i dont get that notification messag to accept andstuff. can someone help me.

First of all; you're seeking for help on a wrong forum thred.

The second thing is, I have no idea what you're tryng to say, so my advice is that you spent more time on getting the help, otherwise you won't get what you're looking for.

click the tools icon scroll down to DCC and set them both to ASK

if you have actually clicked the WORD "tools" on the toolbar scroll down to the word OPTIONS in that menu and follow the instructions above

if you cannot find the icon or the word try holding the ALT key down and type the letter o key (then let the ALT key up) then follow the instructions listed in the first line of this post

thx for the help guys, but it still didnt fix my prob....k this is normally what i do. i go to ircspy an asearch for my file. when i go to the channel on irc and paste it, i get this message

[username]- ** Sending you pack #1 ("fielname.tar"), which is 1.7GB (resume supported)


now i should technically get a alert saying do i accept it or not, but i dont. even after following ur steps
