I am Brazilian and I am using translating, therefore THEY COMPLAIN if you not to understand what I to speak... Certain?

---

Khaled could make a system as if it was a community of orkut, to leave a message in a canal from there and, if somebody will not be in the canal at the moment, could lêr later the message that had ordered while it was it are!

---

This can be made easily in a BOT making commands to leave message and later removing the message, but I find that sitema in mIRC is much more easy already to include this and also could make with that each canal has an image that nor in orkut... It forgives to include me ORKUT on mIRC, but it was only for giving the example!

If I'm understanding you correctly you want to be able to send messages to someone while they're offline and have them relayed to that person when they next come online. If that's the case I'm afraid that's far beyond mIRC's control - it would require some big changes to the IRC protocol itself.

Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and stupid comments are intentional.

One could check if the network already supports this:

/memoserv help

[07/04/05][13:06:43] -MemoServ- ***** MemoServ Help *****
[07/04/05][13:06:43] -MemoServ- MemoServ allows users registered with NickServ to send
[07/04/05][13:06:43] -MemoServ- each other messages, which can be read by the recipient at
[07/04/05][13:06:43] -MemoServ- his/her leisure. Memos can be sent to people even when they
[07/04/05][13:06:43] -MemoServ- are not on IRC.

Services have nothing to do with mIRC, they are a separate service with a separate database, and mIRC should not be making checks to see if networks do support services anyway, and even if it did it would be horribly inaccurate.

This cannot be done in mIRC smile

In addition to what Mentality said, MemoServ is really nothing more than a bot with special usermodes/privileges on certain servers. With this in mind it makes it impossible for mIRC to use it for a number of reasons:

  • Not all servers with a memo service use the name 'MemoServ' for the bot.
  • There is no standard to how MemoServ works - it's commands can (and do) vary completely from one server to the next.
  • While some servers which don't use a 'MemoServ' bot explicitly forbid that nickname to prevent abuse, it's certainly not universal. MemoServ might exist on a server but be a regular user, meaning if mIRC tried to automatically detect and utilise it it would be a massive security issue.

Thank you for your feature suggestion, I am sure that Khaled will see this thread and review your idea.
