Forums Connection Issues "#channelname Cannot send to channel" why?

why ist it that i can't send a message?
i am still not a registered nick for i also don't know how to do that..

please help me..!!

You can't send messages to a channel if:

a) The channel is moderated (mode +m) and you have not been given voice privleges (user mode +v)

or...

b) You were banned in the channel but not kicked out.

As for the nick registration, different networks have different nick registration services. Try channel #help or something similar and they should be able to tell you how.

Since your nick is unregistered, if the channel has mode +R set then you won't be able to send until you do register. mode +R means only registered users are allowed.

Another, more common, possibility, is that you are trying to send messages from outside of the channel and the channel has mode +n set. This is for No outside messages.
