I think that if you load an ini file that doesn't follow the ini file format to remote you should get a warning of some kind.
At present mIRC just leaves the editor completely blank, this can lead you to believe that all kinds of things are going wrong when really it's just a normal plain-text file saved as an ini.

Then what happens with blank INI's? They would generate a false error because mIRC would not find the [script] section (assuming that is how mIRC would check...) Or are you suggestion something that will slow the loading/editing of scripts down even more?

I'm suggesting that if mIRC finds a character other than whitespace in a file and it doesn't follow the ini format it should give a warning.
