Paused timers should show [Paused] or something like that in the list that comes up when you do /timer with no parms. Would have saved me some time trying to figure out why I had a

* Timer 2 1 time(s) 1ms delay title (EFnet)

that wouldn't go away. I do not know why I created such a timer, nor do i even recall doing it, but anything is possible, and besides, that is not the point.

I would have said build yourself a custom display of timer info, but there doesnt appaer to be any method to detect if a timer has been paused, at least prior to it reaching 0 $timer().secs which isnt going to be a perfect detection even then. Maybe an extra property on the $timer() identifier $timer().pause $true $false

I would have to agree with both of these suggestions.

I agree those would be nice, but in order for them to be effective, the pause option in the timer command would have to work in a manner that actually pauses the timer, rather than pausing the results of the timer if the timer hits 0 before the timer is resumed. I know this last part has been mentioned in the bug reports, I just don't feel like having to look up the appropriate link.
