Forums mIRC Help Channel List ?!?!?

I've been using mIRC for a good couple of months until only recently where i've been gettin a channel list problem. I can join a server fine and can even join channels within that server but for some reason as soon as i click on the "Channels List" toolbar, type into the text field or leave it blank and click the "Get list now!" button nothing appears. Furthermore it doesnt allow me to acess the list toolbar again either

Any thoughts?

Does this happen just on one perticular server/network or any?

i've tried out several different servers and keep gettin same error, even uninstalled mIRC a few time but no luck
