The one feature that I wish mIRC has is notify balloons!

Anyone who's used nnscript will know that when someone types your name in any channel you'll get a notify balloon from the mIRC system tray icon.

It also has custom ones, as seen here:

Is there any way this can be integrated into mIRC so I can not have to use this silly script? grin

A simple dll api call or script (look at the script you just posted) could easily accomplish this. while khaled could implement this, he DID add dll support to allow the userbase to not have to rely on feature suggestions that probably won't get implemented.

While i think this is a decent idea and i stand behind it, here's some advice: you shouldn't wait for Khaled to write code for what you can write yourself smile

if you don't want to use nnscript, this is a script which does just that.

Thanks for the replies, and especially thanks for that link, I will try that out now.

I've been playing around with highlights in mIRC and it works perfectly - I simply added a highlight for $me, which is great because I know someone has messaged me, but it would be really if that could be extended so I could see what the message was :P

Anyway I'll play around with this script a bit, or perhaps write my own.
