How might I go about auto-opping only certain users on a channel by just using nicks? I don't want to use host masks, it's too difficult. If anyone has a better alternative also, please notify me.

Thanks in advance,

- Phil.

mIRC has a built-in AOP list, see /help /aop.

You can use /aop nickname #channel. If you find hostmasks too different to grasp then you can just specify a number ('type') at the end of the command to specify what hostmask you want added. e.g.:

/aop Arnie #mIRC 3 will add *!*user@*.domain.com.
/aop Arnie #mIRC 2 will add *!*@hostname.

See /help $mask to see a list of relevant numbers and what they add.

Mentality/Chris
