Forums Connection Issues Unable to resolve server

Every time I try connect to a criten server, I get the message "unable to resolve server". I thought that maybe I got to be more patient because not all of them work but after connection retry #9999 I got a little bit pissed. Can anyone please help me?
Other server work as usual (quakenet, efnet,...).

Connecting to irc.criten.net seems to work for me dude, is that the address you're connecting to?

Well, yes and no. As the programm can't connect to the adress it tries to connect to others. But I found something strange: at the other server he says "unable to resolve server", at the one listed above he says "software caused connection abort". I don't know which software he means, other stuff like efnet works!! (by-the-way: switching off the firewall doesn't help).

I am having the same problem and could do with some serious help.
it is just trying one server after the other and message reads.......unable to resolve server.

Any have any idea what the cause could be
