Can it be done? The close by another script or manual command of a DCC send seems to be unable to be caught as an event by the "on close" trigger. I tried as * and just echo it, closing the send with /close didn't catch. Also, since the send didn't fail it didn't log there either.

It wouldn't be a problem if the script that needed to know the event happened was the same as the one that did it. But they are different.

Am I missing something here, or is it actually impossible?

This catches them, its a patch at best as it uses a timer to check for changes becuase there isnt any event for some of them (like the script closing or [x]ing it, but it works ok.

It responds with a trapable signal so multiple other scripts can action the event.
