Hello.. running xp, mirc 6.16, di-604 router
The port I use in my mirc is 6667 normally.. before I installed a router.
I have two computer on the router.. one computer can use mirc with NO problem. The xp cant seem to connect. I played with the wan/lan settings and firewall. Still cant seem to get anywhere, using pieces of information I got from the search. 192.168.0.1 is my IP.. the standard one, on rogers cable.. broadband ethernet.
Any help to get both computers able to access mirc?
Thanks
Krystine

I had a dlink before. The router itself shouldnt be blocking you from the net. You should check to see if the xp firewall is on. that might be doing it. b/c from what I remember of the 604 you cant block specific ports with the dlink like that so it should have no problem getting on

Yeah, I'm having the same exact problem with the same setup. The only differnce is I have six of my pc's on the same router. I never had this problem before installing the new router either... Anyone know what to do?
