not really a bug but more something annoying...

mIRC doesn't check for ssl on use of the /connect command but only at startup.

I started mIRC, and saw I forgot to install opensll.
so I installed it and tried to connect again, still said it didn't have ssl...

so I had to restart mIRC before the ssl came into affect...

would be nice if the check was in the /connect command, though it does slow the command down ofcourse... (or change the error message to include a 'restart mIRC' thing.

also it would be nice to have some clear links to the SSL install page ( http://www.mirc.co.uk/ssl.html ) on the website under 'how to install' and the FAQ. there is one in the FAQ but not clickable, and under the 'whats new' of 6.14

If it ain't broken, don't fix it!

Well, the help file does state "mIRC loads the OpenSSL dlls automatically when it is first run if it finds libeay32.dll and ssleay32.dll (v0.9.7c) in the mIRC folder"
