OP Relinsquish Vogon poet R Joined: Mar 2004 Posts: 175 Canada	Occasionally when I type in mIRC's editbox, strange things happen. The font and font size change into something bigger when I type. A white rectangular box with strange symbols appear everytime I type. The only way I have found to temporarily fix it is to restart mIRC. Using style 1 keys (lower cases, numbers, etc.) creates the strange characters, and using style 2 keys (upper cases, !@#$%^&*, etc.) creates style 1 characters. I believe this is produced by pressing the shift, ctrl, or alt keys in combination with another key. A screenshot of my problem can be found here.
