Forums Connection Issues Internet goes out

Hello,

Ive got this problem that occurs only when downloading.

For some reason I would be downloading then my speed would gradually decrease to 0 kb/s. I would then be disconnected from the server. mIRC claims it was the infamous 10053 error, however if it were, mIRC would just reconnect after a while and ill be back on the channel.

This is not the case. mIRC will just try to connect but it wont be able too. The wierd thing is if I open IE I get a dns error. My internet is out!! I can't ping any website. The only way to get it back is to restart my computer. I have a home network by the way.

bad Network card?

That was the first thing I thought of, so I went out and bought a new netgear NIC, but the problem persists.....
