Yes, but why would you want to? I'm guessing you don't want people to edit your scripts so you want to lock Alt-R (People can edit them in notepad anyway), but why Alt-O?

yopu might as well let us all know, since it wont stop them editing scripts i mean theres always TOOLS/SCRIPT EDITOR.

I for one wouldnt mind knowing at least how to block the keys out from within mirc (keys in general not just alt-r etc ) .... although i cant actually think of a reason for doing it.

It will make it harder to edit scripts, and some people (New users mainly) seem to think that .mrc files are special files and don't think of opening them in notepad.

No, you didn't say notepad, what I am saying is that by locking the script editor it makes it harder to edit scripts unless you already use an external application to edit scripts (Eg. mEditor), and new users don't seem to know that scripts can be edited in anything but mIRC, so it's not a very good idea to lock the script editor, which is why i'd rather not share how it's done.

Users probably work out it's Alt+R the same way I did, by clicking on "Tools" and seeing "Alt+R" next to "Scripts Editor"

In what you said do you see why it well make no difference if they cant get alt+r to work, they well go, "hmmm somethings wrong, click tools, click Script editor"
