i've already searched the forum for this and couldn't find anything that helped me.

I want to load a picture into my background from an URL file.
if i use the rightclick on the window tab, then this can be done.
It worked perfectly like this.

But now i wan't to use it in a script, and it doen't work anymore...
when i use :
/background -a URL
it keeps putting the $mircdir in front of the url

i tried $remove and $replace, but it keeps giving the mircdir.
Does anybody have a idea how i can get the URL in the script without the mircdir.

Thanks,

Tim

You can script a small HTTP client, it's quite easy. It might get more difficult if you want tu support FTP, but it can be made.

I wouldn't mind working around it, to avoid any problems
But that's big way of working around it.
There should be some kind of easier way to do this.

I'll post it if i found it...
