Ok everytime I have mIRC open for a certain amount of time it will always cause my computer to lock up for about 7 seconds, then it will stop for about 4-5 seconds. It either starts this after it being open for a certain amount of time or just while downloading a file. It will just continue to do this until i restart my computer. Even after closing IRC. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Any help would be appreciated.
My Computer Specs are :
Pentium 4 2.8Ghz
ASUS P4P800-SE mobo.
1024 DDR 3200 kingston value ram.
ATI Radeon 9700 128MB Video card
