why it was removed but you may well find a reason with the
Search feature. If it was removed it wouldn't have been for the sake of it, there's likely a reason it's been removed. On the upside, it's not a bug.
As an FYI, MDI stands for Multi Document Interface. Although..it does have
other meanings!
