There will always be people deadset against paying for software, on some blind and misguided notion that "the internet should be free, period".

While I agree that users shouldn't have to open their wallets before getting to try a piece of software, and users shouldn't be gouged by unfare prices by software designers... I believe in paying for (and thus supporting) software that I really enjoy using and that I get HOURS AND HOURS of use out of.

I'm no patron saint of software registration, but I do buy the programs that I really use.. they deserve it.

And to top it off, Khaled allows you to pay essentially whatever you want for mIRC. If you can't afford (or be bothered to afford) the regular price... then pay only half. It's all good.
