BUG Report:
Version: From 6.11 to 6.14
Key Words: Multibyte display
About me: I'm from Shanghai, always use Chinese to chat.

mIRC supports multibyte from 5.91, from then on, we can use Chinese conveniently. All we should do is just enable the check box smile
(fig 1, the check box, screen shot from mIRC 6.14)

But from mIRC 6.11, we find a deadly bug when multibyte is enabled.
As fig 2, if I input:
Control Code + 1 or 2 byte + Color Code + Chinese

If multibyte is enabled, what will happen?
My God! the "1 or 2 byte" will disappear! (see fig 3 please)

Then, disable the multibyte, the eaten letters will appear immediately! (see fig 4 please)

So, I have to use mIRC 6.02 to avoid the bug, and give up more and more powerful functions in new mIRC.

It's too bad! isn't it?
